I owned both Super Stardust and Wipeout way before the whole 3D thing started up, and I loved both of those games before the whole 3D thing took off. I think with Wipeout HD, it's a little easier to notice the drop in resolution, but not as much with Super Stardust. Super Stardust is amazing to me, because it still seems like it's running at 1080p, even though it isn't. It's really hard to explain to somebody that doesn't have the shutterglasses on, looking at the same thing you're looking at, but you can see really far "into" the screen with Rift. It really is amazing, because you can see the upcoming twists and turns of the track way ahead of time.

The thing that really amazed me about Rift, is that it seems like you can see a full country mile "into" the screen. Motorstorm 3D Rift wasn't available back when I had the VT20, so I only played the 3D demo of the one track, but thought that Rift's 3D was the most impressive of the bunch. I played all those games (except for Pain), and thought the experience was pretty amazing. I temporarily had a VT20 which is basically the same as a VT25, and my feelings are pretty much identical. I can't wait to see what's in store for us PS3 owners. In my opinion, the PS3 is very capable of doing 3D gaming. I'll have to get back to everyone once I get some time to play it. Pain (full game): I just down loaded this one. I can tell you that the 3d is top notch and looks very cool. Sorry, but I'm not much of a baseball fan. MLB 10 (Demo): I haven't played this one very much. Again I'm able to play for several hours with no ill side effects. With some slight contrast adjustment I'm able to play this ghost free. Any ghosting and this one becomes an eye strain headache fest.
It's very important to have your display set-up properly for this game. This game retains all it's original splendor and now is in 3D. I read various blogs and opinions that suggested that this game would take a hit on image quality or frame rate. Wipeout HD (full game with fury-add on): This game is beautiful in 2D and has a very high frame rate in 2D. I'm able to play for hours and hours with no eye strain or headaches. The 3D really turns this game from one I wouldn't play to one I must beat. Turn the 3D mode on and I can't stop playing. Playing this game in 2D I would be bored and ready to move on in about 15 minutes. Super Stardust HD (full game): Here's a game I would normally pass on. I'm able to play for an entire evening 4-5 hours with no eye strain or headaches. My point being there is some good off the screen 3D- which I like. There is mud and debris flying off racers in front of you during game play. And all menu's are clear and easy to use. MotorStorm 3D Rift (full game): This game has outstanding 3D effect. I purchased all my current 3D games from the Playstation Store on-line.
